Japan-based machine manufacturer Matsuura showcases its UK best-selling machines at Mach, each defining the pinnacle of three decades of unmanned machining technology laced with experience and know-how.
The introduction of Matsuura's MAM72 series of five-axis machines, more than 20 years ago, marked the design and definition of the concept of tower-pallet automation for the company.
Today, the latest of this series, the MAM72-35V, is equipped with 32 pallets as standard and can accommodate up to 520 tools. It will be presented at Mach 2018 and is said to be the solution for long periods of unmanned five-axis simultaneous production. The company claims that there is no other machine on the market that offers such a competitive edge – including reliable and unmanned shifts for their production, resulting in increased profits.
